Pastor's Retreats Advances

Sermon preparation … counseling … administrative matters … teaching …
stewardship drives … personnel issues … financial challenges …
denominational affairs … recruitment … personal growth … family matters

When you come to the Inn at Molson's Advance Center, you're not retreating, your advancing!  The Advance Center offers a variety of offerings taylored specificially to the needs of you and/or your church staff and denomination.

A pastor’s daily responsibilities are so demanding and so important.  But one thing is more important still undefined maintaining a right relationship with God.  Our five-day retreats are designed to help you do just that.

The experience will profoundly affect your life and ministryundefinedby changing your heart and helping you regain your perspective.  Imagine the renewal and refreshment you will gain as you:

  • Rest, without having to keep an eye on the clock
  • Spend time in prayer and Scripture reading
  • Take a walk and let God speak to you
  • Enjoy a meal with your hosts and fellow retreat guests
  • Read a good book
  • Nap, talk, play, meditate, or simply enjoy the view
  • Contemplate, journal or discuss the day’s experiences
  • Enjoy a “date” with your spouse
  • Grab a new friend and explore the community

Our retreats enable you to enjoy relaxation, solitude and contemplation. But we also appreciate God’s creativity and humor. Laughter abounds and often serves as the release necessary for a deeper experience with God and others.  Step away from the demands of your calling and step into a special place where you can more clearly feel God’s presence and respond to His call.

Below are a few programs we offer:

Pastor & Wife Advance

Three to five day program for pastors and pastor couples balanced with solitude and community time.

The concept: Invite pastors and their spouses on 3-5 day retreats in beautiful settings. Here you can focus completely on their relationship with God, their relationship with each other, and their focus on building God’s kingdom within their church.

The absence of phones, television, calendars, and the demands of daily living help our guests rest, reflect, pray, seek God, and remember the reason they entered ministry. Here the redeeming love of Christ and the Holy Spirit's faithful work in and through them becomes clearer. This reality ignites a passionate response to God and a desire to make Him known.

Opportunities for conversations with other pastors from across denominational lines open new areas of communication and become a forum for sharing "best practices." Deep, long-term friendships often take root in this safe, anonymous community.

Pastor & Board Advance

Restortation, exercise, team building, prayer, and a focus planning sessions for your church.
